As an academic cancer centre with residency programs in both Medical and Radiation Oncology, a graduate program in Medical Physics, and as a key player in the undergraduate curriculum at Queen's University, the Department of Oncology plays a vital role in educating tomorrow's health professionals.
The dynamic team of internationally recognized researchers and educators that make up the Queen's University Global Oncology Program are committed to improving equity in cancer care and control through global engagement.
Queen’s University Improving Cancer Care (QUICC) is a strategic priority in the Department of Oncology to improve cancer care in our region. Despite significant recent improvements in cancer care we know that many of the patients in the region are not experiencing the outcomes that we would expect. The goal of QUICC is to ensure all patients in our region have the opportunity to have the best outcomes possible.
